Appointment requests are reviewed for clinical fit before they are confirmed. Submitting a request does not guarantee that an appointment will be accepted or that ongoing treatment will be established.
If the request appears to be a good fit, you will receive next-step instructions and any required intake forms. If the request does not appear to be a fit for this practice, you will be notified by email.
Response times may vary. Please do not use this request process for urgent clinical concerns or emergencies.

- Adults seeking psychiatric evaluation or medication consultation
- Anxiety, depression, stress-related symptoms, sleep disruption, or diagnostic uncertainty
- Medication side effects, partial response, or questions about prior treatment
- Second-opinion consultation for diagnosis or medication review
- Patients appropriate for lower-acuity outpatient telehealth care
Not a Fit
- Requests for controlled substances, including stimulants, benzodiazepines, or Z-drugs
- Current crisis, recent suicide attempt, recent hospitalization, or need for intensive monitoring
- Psychosis, severe bipolar symptoms, or conditions requiring local community-based care
- Primary substance use disorder requiring addiction-focused treatment
- Requests primarily for FMLA, disability, workplace or school accommodation, court, custody, emotional support animal, or medical leave paperwork

Comprehensive Evaluation
For most new patients, the comprehensive evaluation is the required first step. The evaluation is used to assess diagnosis, treatment needs, safety considerations, and fit for ongoing care.
Second Opinion
A one-time consultation for diagnostic clarification, medication review, or an independent psychiatric perspective on treatment direction.
Payment is due at the time of service. Sattva Psychiatry is cash-pay and out-of-network.
A detailed superbill is available after each appointment for patients seeking possible out-of-network reimbursement.
