New patient request
Begin New Patient Request
Start here if you are seeking psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment, or clearer direction after prior treatment has not fully addressed the concern.
The request process helps determine whether Sattva Psychiatry can provide the kind of outpatient psychiatric care you are seeking.
Before you request
A request is reviewed before scheduling.
The review process helps match the request with the practice’s outpatient telepsychiatry scope.
If the request appears to be a fit, next-step instructions and required intake forms will be sent. If another setting appears more appropriate, you will be notified.
The goal is to begin with enough information to make the first appointment useful, organized, and clinically appropriate.
Response times may vary. Do not use this request process for emergencies or urgent clinical concerns.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
Required first step for most new patients seeking possible ongoing treatment. The evaluation assesses diagnosis, treatment needs, medication strategy, safety considerations, prior treatment history, and fit for outpatient telepsychiatry.
Payment is due at the time of service. Sattva Psychiatry is cash-pay and out-of-network.
A detailed superbill is available after each appointment for patients seeking possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Some commercial PPO plans may reimburse a portion of out-of-network psychiatric care after the deductible has been met. As a high-end illustration only, if a plan reimbursed 80% of the full $425 fee after deductible, the estimated net cost would be $85. Actual reimbursement may be lower, unavailable, subject to deductible, or based on the insurer’s allowed amount rather than the full fee.
Follow-up psychiatric treatment for established patients is $275 for 20 minutes. Extended follow-up visits are $375 for 30 minutes when clinically appropriate.
